Get Moving Already

Okay. I'm terribly sorry for the super long delay. I've been procrastinating.. as usual. Just can't seem to move my bum and get things going. This is with respect to all aspects of my life right now.. Things I have to do:

1. Updating my blog on the recent trip

2. Going through the 1.5Gb worth of photos and videos

3. Go back on my exercise regime (which I have been off for like 4 weeks or so)

4. Start researching for my California trip

5. Read the magazines I've subscribed so my money won't go to waste

6. Find out all the moving out and deleting Houston from my life procedure (and getting all my deposits back).

7. Work!

Well, I've sort of started on #6 I guess. Been calling different companies for termination procedures. Time really flies (so cliche.. but so true). I've been here 3+ months already, meaning there's only 2+ months left to go. Guess I've somewhat settled down here, no longer having that traveller feeling. Think I will miss Houston when I go back. The comfortable pace of life, the superb non-summer weather and in particular the people. Oh well...

Haa.. One thing that I'm enthusiastic about is renting dvds! Haa.. I've recently signed up for my 2nd free dvd rental trial with Netflix (previous was Blockbuster) and am anticipating the shipment of the first dvds today. I didn't think that I would get into this whole dvd rental thingy.. Was never a dvd kind of person. I love movies but just seem to prefer the theatres. I still prefer going to cinemas but that's not as accessible an option here. Tickets are expensive, and more importantly, the cinemas are so far and hard to get to without a car. Without much to do at home in the evenings and when you have watched so much CSI that you are starting to see repeats, dvds come in real handy. Also, I can catch up on all the films that I've wanted to watch but somehow missed. Even better is that it's free! (As long as you cancel after the 2 weeks trial. Haa. I'm getting a thrill out of watching free dvds! See the cheapskate character in me!?! Haa.)

Okay, I promise I will get started on #1 which involves #2 too. Will upload the beautiful views of Manhattan night sky and Niagara Falls by the end of the week. Stay tune!
