On the road again...

Okay.. Been years since I last wrote. Sorry.. swarm with lots of stuff.

Internship ended last friday. Past 6 months working in Baylor had been one of the ebst experience in my life... In a flash, it came to an end. I know I will miss my friends and colleagues there. Maybe, just maybe, I will return in 2 years to work for them! Haa...

Am now in NY! Huh? Again? Yaa.. came to watch Les Mis, which will be in 2 hours time... Can't wait to watch it. It's one of my favourite musicals.. The other being Phantom of Opera, which I saw in Dec when I was here. I actually just saw another musical too - the Pirate Queen. It's pretty new, debutted in Chicago last November. Was good.. the producers are the ones behind Les Mis and Miss Saigon. The set design isn't as impressive, but the costumes are gorgeous. The singers are pretty good. The lead actor was eye candy too with a nice tone in his voice! Ha..

Will just be in NY for 2+ days, leaving tomorrow for Washington DC. Can't wait to see the cherrt blossoms!! Haa.. No need to go Japan to see sakuras liao... ;-) Spending four days in DC then heading south to Miami and the Keys for a week's worth of sun, sand and sea! No more of the cold, windy, wet weather here in NY. Especially bad today.. My shoes are wet, wasn't that prepared for this kind of cold. Think temperatures are in the 40oF, but with the wind and rain, feelings like freezing.. Brrr.... Good thing about NY is shopping!! Haa.. in the 2 days I'm here, already bought like 5 items - all from H&M, which is like a cheap fashion chainstore. Got a super good deal just now - USD15 for 2 skirts! Haa.. Got a nice black shirt dress yesterday and couple of blouses.. Can't wait to wear the shirtdress! Hee...

Realise US clothes fit me better... In SG, some thing would be wrong. If it's pants, the waist would be too loose if the hips fit. If it's dress, top half fits but bottom too loose... It's irritating. But here, top, middle and bottom all fits! Such a blessing. Been buying so much clothes.. Really hope I won't be buying much when I go home. Another thing is buying clothes here sure makes me feel good.. Don't think I lost that much weight, but sometimes I can fit into a M, even S!! Haa.. Well, u know how huge many Americans are.. the sizing is probably much bigger than in SG. Oh well.. Sure feels good when I try on clothes.. Haa... Deceiving myself.

Will try write again before I go home.. But no guarantee.. Haa. Probably too busy in DC and Florida.. Especially florida, probably too tired from all the activities.. Snorkelling, kayaking, everglades safari etc... So excited!!

Will be home on the 21st.. So must meet up when I get back k!?! Tata...
