First Major Buy
Yesterday, I made my first major purchase in 22+ years of my life. Bought a digi cam and it costs a bomb. Never spent so much in one shot, my own hard earned money somemore! Haa... Think I have to be even more prudent for the next 3 mths when it comes to spending. Realise I have been buying quite a lot of stuff every since I started working... Like a personal purchase every week? Bought a watch, then a pair of shoes...Now this.. Digi cam! Y

Was actually rather impulsive when I made the purchase - as usual. My brother was telling me over the phone "Dun buy immediately, can always go home and think about it and return to buy since the fair will be on till Sunday." But I still bought it there and then. I gave in to the temptation. Been eyeing on the camera model ever since Sheng have it for her 21st Bdae.. (Haa.. Sheng: It's all your fault!=P) Peer pressure sure didn't help. Not one of my friends advised against it. My colleague even pressured me further by saying she will buy one too if I buy! Yeesh! Making a decision for two people! Haa... Oh well. No matter how, I am glad that I bought it. It is worth it's money. Hopefully it will last me for at least 4 years, giving me all the pretty photos, especially during travels!
Well.. guess this month it's impossible for me to save $1000. Hmm... as for my november travel plans, I think I really have to bring my mom to China - Yunan, and well.. she says she will pay for it! Haa.. Yeah!
With this digi cam... I will be able to take more photos and upload onto the blog. Hone my photography skills.. and look at life from a whole new angle - literally!

haha...so did ur colleague buy it too? how much does it cost? I don't own a digital camera too...it sounds so tempting, that I feel like getting one too! ha!
Yaa.. my colleague bought it too. It cost me $649!! But came with some freebies like cleaning kit, camera caseetc. Most importantly, came with two 512Mb SD card, so won't need to buy anymore, making it more worth it. But have to get a spare batt though. It's an investment for me, hopefully a wise one.
